Happy Fathers Day 2003-06-15 - 8:12 a.m. HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ME!
This entry is dedicated to my little slice of heaven...without him i would be a much different person and not in a good way...i remember the first time i ever held him...i knew that no matter what i would always be there for him to help him, protect him, scold him, teach him and show him how to grow up to be a man. it hit my like an enormous weight..knowing that i was responsible for him..but that weight made me stronger and his ever present smile made me so happy...hearing him giggle uncontrollably brought joy to my heart...it seems like only yesterday that he was first learning to walk..and now he's done with first grade and makin the honor roll and student of the month...it seems like the time went by so fast, yet so much has happened in that time...remember when u were little and your parents spanked or scolded you..and they gave you the "this hurts you more than it hurts me" line? well...i finally see what they mean...when he's been bad and i have to scold him and his face just twists all up and the tears come pouring out..it rips me up but i know it has to be done...now i am gonna go wake him up and take him to breakfast..because with out him..this would not be a happy fathers day..daddy loves you, brian. Leave me a note..or dont..whatever yo :)
