Happy new year my ass!!

man...what a way to start off the new year at work...as soon as i walk into the door..my boss is handin me the keys to van #1 and told me to grab the K-50 snake (for drains) and 100 feet of snake and get to 7th and Eye streets NW....so i cart all the stuff out there, load the van up and take off thru the city...so im thinkin a sink or toilet is clogged up...boy was i ever wrong!! Ed and Tim meet me out on the corner...we drag the stuff up to the roof...4 stories and out thru the roof hatch...and there on the roof...was an area about ohhhh 20 feet wide by 25 feet long by 1 foot deep of water...NOT a good thing to be on a roof...thats 500 cubic feet of water...i figure a cubic foot weighs ruffly about 10-13 pounds...not too sure...anyway..thats bewteen 5000-6500 pounds of water on the roof...fuckin shit could cave the roof in...apparently the main drain from the roof was clogged up all the way down at basement level...so we ran the snake down there..got about 50 feet of it in and it just wont go any further...the plumbers were on the way with the HUGE snake..the K-1500..this fucker is a monster...the snake diameter on the K-50 we have is about 3/4 inch..the K-1500 looked about 1 3/4 - 2 inches...HUGE...plus the motor itself was big as a friggin pumpkin...so the dood gets down to the level we had reached..and it started buckin the snake again..all of a sudden it bit and punched thru whatever was blockin it up....watchin a couple hundred gallons of water pour down a 4 inch drain is somethin hella cool...just makes this huge sucking sound....probably not uncommon to the worlds best BJ...but with out the rolled back eyes and clenched fists...haha

keep in mind that its about 35 degrees, up on the roof and we were standin in a foot of cold water...for about ..ummm...3 hrs...the cool thing was...after we went downstairs and loaded all the crap back onto the van...WOW!!! look..a HOOTERS right next door!! SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETT!!...bad news? man..that fucker wasnt open yet...happy new year my ass...
