Car fire and new camera..wheee! 2003-05-28 - 10:10 p.m. two things cool happened today..one, i got a new digital camera that even takes audio and video...and two, a car caught on fire at work!! which one was the coolest?? GOTTA go with the car on fire...i just wish i would have bought the cam yesterday so i coulda had video of the car on fire and everybody bum rushin that sucka with fire extinguishers...LOL it wasnt a BIG fire like the last car that went up three years ago..now THAT one was hellafied awesome (not for the owner im sure) but whatever...the one three years ago, her radiator fan shorted out and caught fire which in turn melted the fuel line and then all hell broke loose..her fuckin engine exploded and a big ass fireball went up then the two cars next to it caught on fire...pretty damn exciting for my what? 4th day on the job? hahaha then that SAME day later in the afternoon we got a call that a teller at the greenbelt branch accidently set off a dye pack and the branch was full of tear gas....so steve (my boss) tells me to take some fans over to them...now later i found out that he meant "just drop the fans off at the front door"..but what i THOUGHT he meant was "take the fans over there...start in the back where the tear gas is the thickest and set the fans up to suck all the tear gas out thru a succession of fans and try not to hack up a lung while in the gas"...i mean i HAVE breathed tear gas before and id bet my left testicle the TELLER wasnt gonna carry her happy ass back inside and try to set up 5 fans in the cloud of gas...so i did what i thought was best...turns out i was wrong...he went apeshit (actually he didnt...but people goin apeshit just sounds really funny)...but yeah he got a LIL upset cuz he didnt wanna explain how i was in the hospital and blah blah blah..im like dood..its just tear gas...it just makes me drool and snot all over myself...kinda like when i was a baby...or at the HFStival...hahaha my camera is pretty cool...takes pictures (obviously)./.its a 3.2megapixel..whatever that means...thats a lotta fuckin pixels if you ask me...i took a pic of a beer bottle and that sucka was like...4 times normal size on the screen ..i was like OOOOOO!!!! ME WANT BEEEER!!! then i realized it was just a pic...damn cruel world! it also doubles as a webcam but that point is moot as i'll never use it as a webcam..but the cool part is that it takes up to 200 seconds of video and audio on the small setting and 60 seconds on the bigger frame...i gotta carry this sucka with me at work...maybe i'll get some cool shyz on video..at least some cool pix...maybe somebodys car will catch on fire again..that would be SWEEEEEEET!! any requests for pictures must be sent thru my new agent Ninabean...she will be handling all the "filing" of those...otherwise known as the delete button...THANKS BEAN!!
